Yes, there are consequences for our sin.  Yet God provided His Son as means for us to be forgiven and reconciled to Him.  For God loves us, even in our sin.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8

I hold on to Truth and God's promises, including God loves me and He is perfect, in all ways.

My Prayer: Lord Jesus, what a great God You are - You are indeed perfect in all ways and forever.  Thank You for Your perfect justice and discipline.  You know what is right for me and You provide abundantly.  Thank You Jesus!  I am not worth such love - but You provide it anyway.  I am selfish.  Please forgive me Jesus and help me overcome my sin and turn towards You.  Help me love You with all of my heart, soul, and mind and love others as You do. Help me grow in my faith.  Give Lisa and myself wisdom and strength.  Please heal her of her cancer and from the side effects of chemo.  Help us lead Zach and Dustin to You Jesus and for them to choose You as their Lord and Savior.  Help me serve You, my family, my church, and others.  Help me understand, be obedient to, and apply Your message for me today and every day.
