Micah 4
I desire to know God....and to please Him. That is why we exist.
Although we will not know all of the thoughts and plans for God, we should strive to know God's thoughts and plans for us. God has a plan for each of us (Jeremiah 29:11).
Paul writes in Romans that we can better understand God's will for our lives by "renewing" our mind;
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2
Renewing of the mind occurs when we deny ourselves and surrender our lives to Him, seeking Him daily.
But they do not know the thoughts of the Lord; they do not understand his plan[.] v12

My Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are an awesome God, full of love and compassion for me. Thank You Jesus! I am not worth such love and compassion because I continue in my sin. I worry...too much. Please forgive me and help me overcome such sin and turn towards You. Help me love You with all of my heart, soul, and mind and love others as You do. Help me grow in my faith. Give Lisa and myself wisdom and strength. Please heal Lisa of her cancer and from the side effects of chemo. Help us lead Zach and Dustin to You Jesus and for them to choose You as their Lord and Savior. Help me serve You, my family, my church, and others. Help me understand, be obedient to, and apply Your message for me today and every day.
