Nahum 2-3
The Lord is "slow to anger, and abounding in love", yet God's patience is not infinite. At some point, the clock runs out for those who reject Jesus and the result is eternal damnation. This is the case with those destroyed during the flood, in Sodom and Gomorrah, here in Ninevah, and again during the end times.
Even those who fail to fully surrender their lives to Jesus (Ananias and Sepphira, the church in Laodicea) are subject to eternal damnation...don't be fooled. God is clear, we are to repent and turn to God and to love Him with all of our heart, soul and mind, and to love others as ourselves (Exodus 20, Matthew 22).
We must try and save others.
My Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are a great God and You are worthy of my reverent fear, love, attention, and obedience. You have given everything to me and You gave Yourself away for me...thank You Jesus...this is overwhelming and I am not worth such love. I continue to be stingy with my love. Please forgive me and help me overcome such sin and turn towards You. Help me love You with all of my heart, soul and mind and love others as You do. Help me grow in my faith. Give Lisa and myself wisdom and strength. Please heal Lisa of her cancer and from the side effects of chemo. Help us lead Zach and Dustin to You Jesus and for them to choose You as their Lord and Savior. Help me serve You, my family, my church, and others. Help me understand, be obedient to, and apply Your message for me today and every day.
