Isaiah 49
It is often very difficult to live as God intends for us - to glorify Him and to be a light.
Yet what is due me is in the Lord’s hand, and my reward is with my God. v4

Do not be surprised, my brothers and sisters, if the world hates you. 1 John 3:13
Jesus says we are to have trouble (John 16:33), yet Isaiah reminds us that "[our] reward is with God".
We should have an eternal focus, and live with the end in mind.
My Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are an awesome God who will never leave or forsake me and who will provide eternity in Heaven for me and for all those who believe. Thank You Jesus! I am not worth such a gift. I am harsh with my words and actions and often not encouraging. Please forgive me Jesus and help me overcome and turn from my sin towards You. Help me love You with all of my heart, soul, and mind and love others as You do. Help me grow in my faith. Give Lisa and myself wisdom and strength. Please heal Lisa of her cancer and from the side effects of chemo. Help us lead Zach and Dustin to You Jesus and for them to choose You as their Lord and Savior. Please provide Godly friends and spouses to Zach and Dustin. Help me serve You, my family, my church, and others. Help me understand, be obedient to, and apply Your message for me today and every day.
