Acts 10
Acts 10 gives us the story of a divine appointment between Cornelius and Peter and how God fulfilled on the Great Commission by bring the Good News of Jesus Christ to Jews and Gentiles alike.
In Matthew 28, Jesus gives believers the Great Commission telling us to "make disciples of all nations". God wants everyone to be His child; we ARE all His creation yet not all are adopted into the family of Christ - see post here from John Piper on this. We should understand that our role is to BE Jesus and share the Good News of Jesus Christ with others - it is up to God alone who actually becomes believers.

My Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are an incredible God who loves me and gave me faith - thank You Jesus! I am not deserving of such a gift and the many blessings that come of such faith. I worry and I have other sins - daily! Please forgive me Jesus and help me overcome and turn from my sin towards You. Help me love You with all of my heart, soul, and mind and love others as You love me. Help me grow in my faith. Give Lisa and myself wisdom and strength. Please heal Lisa of her cancer and from the side effects of chemo. Help us lead Zach and Dustin to You Jesus and for them to choose You as their Lord and Savior. Please provide Godly friends and spouses to Zach and Dustin. Help me serve You, my family, my church, and others. Help me understand, be obedient to, and apply Your message for me today and every day.
I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism but accepts from every nation the one who fears him and does what is right. v34-35
