Peter is warning is that scoffers will come and we must be alert and stay focused on Jesus' return, maintaining our faith and trying to snatch others from the fire (Jude 1:23). We must live with the end in mind, recognizing that God wants everyone to be in Heaven.

Help me bring others to Him.

My Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are indeed a patient God, with me and with all of Your children.  Thank You Jesus for Your patience, compassion and mercy.  I am not worth such mercy.  I know I don't do all that I can to bring others to You.  Please forgive me Jesus and help me overcome and turn from my sin towards You.  Help me love You with all of my heart, soul, and mind.  Help me love others as You do.  Help me bring others to You.  Help me grow in my faith.  Give Lisa and myself strength and wisdom. Please heal her of her cancer and from the side effects of chemo.  Help us lead Zach and Dustin to You Jesus and for them to choose You as their Lord and Savior.  Help me serve You, my family, my church, and others.  Help me understand, be obedient to, and apply Your message for me today and every day.
