1 Therefore, holy brothers
and sisters, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on
Jesus, whom we acknowledge as our apostle and high priest.
I desire to fix my thoughts on Jesus but I often struggle to do anything but fix my thoughts on my own selfish desires or on earthly matters. I do wish to be rid of these desires so that I can truly focus on thoughts on Jesus Christ Our Lord - I need to place my hope in Him.
My Prayer: Lord, You are Holy and I am not. Please forgive me and my selfish desires and inability to focus on You. Purify me Lord and help me get my strength from You.
