Matthew 26
As a follow up to my post a couple of days ago, we now see not just Judas betraying Jesus but all of the other disciples as well. Once again we see how even those closest to Jesus fall prey to the demons of this world, likely fear of authorities. I wonder how I might falter if confronted with the threat of physical harm as the disciples and many others face.
While we may fear physical harm, we should have a greater fear - separation from God.
My Prayer: What an awesome God who has saved me and sealed me for eternity - thank You Jesus! I am not worth such love. I worry. Please forgive me Jesus and help me overcome and turn from my sin towards You. Help me love You with all of my heart, soul, and mind and love others as You love me. Help me grow in my faith. Give Lisa and myself wisdom and strength. Please heal Lisa of her cancer and from the side effects of chemo. Please help us lead Zach and Dustin to You Jesus and for them to choose You as their Lord and Savior. Please provide Godly friends and spouses to Zach and Dustin. Help me serve you, my family, my church and others. Help me understand, be obedient to, and apply Your message for me today and every day.

Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. Matthew 10:28
