“Consider carefully what you hear,” he continued. “With the measure you use, it will be measured to you—and even more. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.”

Mark 4

“Consider carefully what you hear,” he continued. “With the measure you use, it will be measured to you—and even more. Whoever has will be given more; whoever does not have, even what they have will be taken from them.” v24-25

I know God has blessed me with talents and of course I pray that I am being a good steward of these talents.

For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you. For just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us. If your gift is prophesying, then prophesy in accordance with your faith; if it is serving, then serve; if it is teaching, then teach; if it is to encourage, then give encouragement; if it is giving, then give generously; if it is to lead, do it diligently; if it is to show mercy, do it cheerfully.  Romans 12:3-8

My Prayer: Lord Jesus, I have blessed beyond what I deserve with financial resources and the skills to provide these resources.  Yet sometimes I seek my own glory rather than Yours and sometimes I am not a good steward of these resources.  Thank You that You love me anyway and of course for providing these resources but please forgive me Jesus.  Help me turn from such sin.  Help me glorify You and You alone.  Help me love You with all of my heart, soul, mind, and strength.
