Micah 7
The answer is Jesus Christ...God's one and only Son (John 3:16)...He is this great God who can do and did do everything for us. Jesus is patient, compassionate and full of mercies. Galatians 5:22 describes how we bear fruit when the Holy Spirit is with us and we fully surrender our lives to Jesus. This post provides scripture examples of how we have a God who is slow to anger and abounding in love. We have a God that has overcome the world and gives us the same power that raised Him from the dead. WE have all of this and He FREELY gives Himself away...all we need to do is accept Him as our Lord and Savior and believe and trust in Him.
My Prayer: You ARE this God who can do all of this and who frees us from the sting of sin and death! You gave Your life to us knowing everything about us, including our sin. You came to save us...thank You Jesus. You ARE a great God and we are undeserving of such a God. I know for myself that I too often live for myself vs living for You and others. Please forgive me and help me overcome and turn from my sin towards You. Help me love You with all of my heart, soul, and mind and love others as You do. Help me grow in my faith. Give Lisa and myself wisdom and strength. Please heal Lisa of her cancer and from the side effects of chemo. Help us lead Zach and Dustin to You Jesus and for them to choose You as their Lord and Savior. Help me serve You, my family, my church, and others. Help me understand, be obedient to, and apply Your message for me today and every day.
Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. You will again have compassion on us; you will tread our sins underfoot and hurl all our iniquities into the depths of the sea. v18-19
