1 Chronicles 27
1 Chronicles 23-27 details many of the duties of the temple and of other roles within the kingdom. God provides for all of us to have roles in His Kingdom.
In 2 Peter 1:1-10, Peter encourages us to grow in our faith so that we are effective and productive i His glory.
“Of these, twenty-four thousand are to be in charge of the work of the temple of the Lord and six thousand are to be officials and judges. Four thousand are to be gatekeepers and four thousand are to praise the Lord with the musical instruments I have provided for that purpose.” 1 Chronicles 23:4-5

My Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are an amazing God who has created everyone uniquely with gifts where we can depend on and learn from one another. Thank You Jesus. You created community, church, marriage, family, etc. and we are all blessed by Your perfect design. I am not worth such blessings. I worry and am harsh with my words and actions. Please forgive me Jesus and help me overcome and turn from my sin towards You. Help me love You with all of my heart, soul, and mind and love others as You do. Help me grow in my faith. Give Lisa and myself wisdom and strength. Please heal Lisa of her cancer and from the side effects of chemo. Help us lead Zach and Dustin to You Jesus and for them to choose You as their Lord and Savior. Please provide Godly friends and spouses to Zach and Dustin. Help me serve You, my family, my church, and others. Help me understand, be obedient to, and apply Your message for me today and every day.
