When Ruth agreed to travel with Naomi - Ruth had no idea what God had in store for her. None of us do - all we know is that God has plan.
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11
Yet Ruth's family line includes not just David but Jesus.
Reminder that if we feel led, we should go and if we submit our hearts and minds to Him - He WILL do big things.
My Prayer: Lord Jesus, I love You - I have seen how You have done big things in my life and in the lives around me. Amazing! Thank You Jesus for how You bless me. I am not deserving. I worry - far too much. Please forgive me Jesus and help me overcome my sin and turn from it towards You. Help me love You with all of my heart, soul, and mind and love others as You do. Help me grow in my faith. Give Lisa and myself wisdom and strength. Please heal Lisa of her cancer and from the side effects of chemo. Help her understand Your will for her life. Help us lead Zach and Dustin to You Jesus and for them to choose You as their Lord and Savior. Help me serve You, my family, my church, and others. Help me understand, be obedient to, and apply Your message for me today and every day.
Then Naomi took the child in her arms and cared for him. The women living there said, “Naomi has a son!” And they named him Obed. He was the father of Jesse, the father of David. v16-17
