Ezekiel 12
As Ezekiel continues to prophecy regarding the exile of the Jewish people to Babylon, he delivers a message from God intended to put to rest those who doubt God is in control and nothing can stop His will from being fulfilled.
Unfortunately, just as those in Ezekiel's time, we often live as if God's stated plans will not come to pass. Above all, we must understand that we will all face judgement either when we die or when Jesus returns. If we ignore this, we do so at our own peril.
We should live with the end in mind, knowing that God holds all of us accountable for what we have done.
My Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are an awesome God who loves me and who has rescued me from the sting of sin and death - thank You Jesus! I am not worth such love. I miss the mark. Please forgive me Jesus and help me overcome and turn from my sin towards You. Help me love You with all of my heart, soul and mind and love others as You love me. Help me grow in my faith. Give Lisa and myself wisdom and strength. Please heal Lisa of her cancer and from the side effects of chemo. Help us lead Zach and Dustin to You Jesus and for them to choose You as their Lord and Savior. Please provide Godly friends and spouses to Zach and Dustin. Help me serve You, my family, my church, and others. Help me understand, be obedient to, and apply Your message for me today and every day.
But I the Lord will speak what I will, and it shall be fulfilled without delay. For in your days, you rebellious people, I will fulfill whatever I say, declares the Sovereign Lord. v25
