Ezekiel 13
It is important that our actions and our words are consistent with God's word and His will for our lives. We must KNOW God's Word and spend time with God to build a relationship with Him, and through this we can be transformed to better know His will for our lives.
However, there are many in this world who misuse God's name claiming God speaks certain words when He does not.
We are to beware of such false prophets in this world and surround ourselves with others who can help us strengthen our relationship with Jesus to help us better understand His Word and will for our lives.
My Prayer: Lord Jesus, You are an awesome God who loves me and who has given me greater faith and others to strengthen my faith. Thank You Jesus. I am not worth such love as I often miss the mark. Please forgive me Jesus and help me overcome and turn from my sin towards You. Help me love You with all of my heart, soul, and mind and love others as You love me. Help grow in my faith. Give Lisa and myself wisdom and strength. Please heal Lisa of her cancer and from the side effects of chemo. Help us lead Zach and Dustin to You Jesus and for them to choose You as their Lord and Savior. Please provide Godly friends and spouses to Zach and Dustin. Help me serve You, my family, my church, and others. Help me understand, be obedient to, and apply Your message for me today and every day.
Their visions are false and their divinations a lie. Even though the Lord has not sent them, they say, “The Lord declares,” and expect him to fulfill their words. v6
